Start and end of season clean up can be a headache waiting to happen. We offer full service clean ups including removal and disposal of all refuse. At the time of clean ups, we usually encourage our customers to sign up for shrub pruning and perennial bed clearing. It makes sense because we’ll be out there anyway and it happens to be a good time to prune and clear out beds. Every residence has unique requirements for spring and fall clean ups and we will come up with a program that works for you.

FERTILIZER & WEED CONTROL.
Lawn Fertilizer & Weed Control – Our program consists of slow release dry granular fertilizer applications and a scheduled blanket liquid weed control application.
- Early Spring: This application includes preventative treatment for crabgrass and weeds.
- Spring: This application blankets your lot to provide weed control for hundreds of weeds.
- Early Summer: Dry granular fertilizer with slow release nitrogen provides food for your area. Further weed control as necessary.

MOWING.
If your landscape looks its best, we look our best. Every mowing includes the following: Complete mowing of the property, string trimming around all edging, trees, posts, etc., and removal of freshly cut grass from all paved and non-desirable areas with a power blower.
CORE AERATION & DETHATCHING.
Aeration improves the health of your landscape. By removing small plugs from the lawn, and having them break back down into the turf after a week or so, this process helps revive compacted soil and completely puncture thatch build up in concentrated areas. This process also allows water, oxygen, sunlight and fertilizer to penetrate the turf and reach the root system and is usually done in late spring or early fall.
Dethatching removes thatch build up in your landscape to allow moisture, sunlight and fertilizers to better reach the soil. “Thatch” is dead grass stems and roots and other small debris trapped above the soil creating a barrier for nutrients. A rule of thumb is that if you have more than about ½ inch of thatch in your lawn, then that layer is a problem for your lawn and should be removed.
