Are there different types of lawn fertilizer and weed control for the different seasons? If so, what are they?
Yes, there are several types of lawn fertilizer and weed-control applications, each designed for a specific time of year.
In early spring, we apply a preventative treatment to help control crabgrass and other weeds before they begin to grow. Later in the spring, we use a broad application across your lawn to target and control hundreds of common weeds.
In early summer, we apply a dry granular fertilizer with slow-release nitrogen to provide your lawn with steady nourishment. In late summer, we use a nitrogen-release treatment to continue feeding your lawn and provide weed control as needed.
During the fall, we winterize your lawn to help prepare it for a healthy, vibrant green-up in the spring.
